Job Profile: • The incumbent will handle litigation engagements pertaining to Customs, Foreign Trade Policy, Special Economic Zones and related subjects. • Briefing and assistance to seniors in appearances before different forums including tax officers, Tribunal, High Court/Supreme Court, etc. • Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as legal opinions, replies and tax appeals to ensure consistency, clarity and keeping in mind client’s interests • Stay updated on legal development and contribute actively towards firm’s initiatives for knowledge building and enhancement like case law digest, litigation meetings, article writing, assistance in conferences, chorus calls • Actively engage in business development / practice development activities • Customs & International trade advisory Partnering and Building Relationships, Lead role in client service delivery. Acts as a Trusted Business Advisor • Participates in advising clients on strategic issues and understanding client’s needs • Plays a strong role in involving multi-disciplinary teams across the BU in providing services to important accounts
